Q1. How far does the evidence at the site and in your written documents support this view?

 

Q1 = 17 marks

 

LEVEL1: Answers that ignore the hypothesis and instead give a simple description of Saltaire (and possibly other villges) using the site and other sources. (1-6 marks)

 

LEVEL2: Answer which use the site and sources to address one side of the equation i.e., that the evidence supports the view that Saltaire was or was not a 19th C model village. Or, answers which address both sides of the equation at a superficial level. (7-12 marks)

 

LEVEL3: Answers which use the site and sources to address both sides of the equation, and come to a conclusion. (13-17 marks)
