because… · Francis Crick and James Watson shared the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1962. This was in recognition of their huge advancement of medical understanding of DNA. · They two mapped the structure of DNA in 1953. They used the work of earlier DNA experts to help them in their breakthrough. · Understanding DNA is essential to knowing what and how we inherit from our biological ancestors. |
