Important in Medicine because…

·         Aristotle linked disease to the four humours!!

·         He developed Hippocrates’ ideas of balance by linking the Four Humours or fluids to the four elements and the four seasons.

·         Unfortunately for Aristotle he confused the symptoms of disease for the causes.
